"I can't believe the day is finally here~" Amanda Winters chimed, spinning around in her beautiful white gown. Today, five years of a perfect relationship, and a year after temple graduation, Amanda was marrying Raimundo Pedrosa. She smiled, before being seated by one of her bridesmaids, Renai, to get her hair done.
"This is so exciting~" Renai said happily, running a brush through the brunnettes hair.
"Ja!" German Ciera cried, putting a flwoer in her hair. The five brides maids: Renai, Lydia, Jade, Ciera, and Kai-Lan, wore beautiful aqua dresses no shorter then their knees. Aqua was Amanda's favorite color. Everyone was out in the chapal, all of Amanda's friends and family, along with Raimundos.
Amanda's mother and brother were there, along with Raimundo's huge family, including his mother, father, brother Ricochet, and other brothers and sisters who chatted and talked happily to one another. Even their friends were there. Clay, Bryan, Omi, Selenia and her husband, Chase Young, with their son Scott, who brought along his girlfriend Payton. A girl with long brunette hair and a purple ribbon, Abby, sat happily beside her brother, talking about her excitement while he sat there, slghtly unamused. Little blonde NIna sat with Good Jack Spicer, and the other Jack beside him, alone due to Lydia's current absence. Tai Ling and Kami sat there as well, Kami shouting and cheering while Tai lIng tuned him out as always. Kimiko sat with her Papa and sister, Mikiko, the girls chatting and giggling. Shawn the fairy was there as well, wings tucked in as she wore a beautiful dress. Master Fung and Dojo had even attended the special event!
Amanda looked at the clock. Five minutes to three. Butterflies came into her stomach, and she began to pace. The group of girls looked over at her curiously.
"What's wrong?" Kai-Lan asked the bride-to-be
"Oh God I'm so nervous....what if I mess up....or he leaves me at the alter..." She worried, biting her lip.
"He won't do that." Lydia said to her friend.
"Course he wont. He wouldn't of proposed if that was the case." Amanda nodded.
"Yeah....yeah you're right...." she plopped herself onto the chair as there was a knock on the door. Renai answered to see her favorite cowboy, Clay Bailey, waiting outisde.
"I reckon it's time to start." Clay siad with a smile. "And you look mighty purdy Ren." Renai's face tinted pink and she smiled.
"Thank you Clay~ We're almost ready..." With a nod, the cowboy left and Renai closed the door. "Oh he's so perfect~" She squealed. The room of girls giggled.
Finally it was time. With everyone ready, Amanda stood outside with her mother, who took her fathers place in giving her away.
"I wish Dad was here to give me away..." she said sadly.
"So do I." Her mother agreed. "But he's watching you right now, front row, and he's criticing and starring into Raimundo's soul." Giggling, Amanda nodded as the music began to play. She walked with her mother, seeing everyone standing and looking at her. Her brides maids stood, teary-eyed and smiling as they held bouqets of flowers, and her brother grinned his favorite goofy grin as she passed by. Her friends gave her enormous smiles, and he knew she heard Kami say:
"Maybe the wedding will get an epic robot attack..."
Finally she saw Raimundo. He stood, his eyes widening as his bride came into view, walking closer to him. He was dressed in a white tux, not black, and wearing black shoes with his hair spikey as always. She smiled as her mother kissed her cheek, and she joined her fionce on stage.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here in the sight of God...."
Throught the priest's speech, Amanda and Raimundo stood there, sneaking glances around the room to see the groups reactions. Most sat paitenally, smiling. However Ricochet was leaned over the pew, flirting with Shawn and Abby, only to get smacked by his mother to be quiet. Kami was half bored, slumped over and grumbling under his breath. Amanda looked at her bridesmaids, who gave a smile and a thumbs up.
"If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace." The priest finally said. Here it was. Amanda was nervous of this part alright. She was nervous, hoping Sabrina wouldn't bust in and ruin this magical moment. But silence filled the room, except for a child's cough. The priest, giving a nod, continued.
The couple, after moments, turned to eachother, hand in hand. Amanda looked up at Raimundo, whose green eyes shined with excitement as the priest told him what to say. Nodding, he repeated:
"I Raimundo take thee Amanda to my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth." Amanda smiled as the priest looked down to revise what he would next say. Raimundo then mouthed dumbfoundingly: "Thee?" And Amanda tried her hardest not to laugh. Then the priest told her the same thing, and she repeated:
"I Amanda take thee Raimundo to my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth." She then heard a happy sigh from her bridesmaids. Turning a bit, she noticed it was Jade, who smiled when she saw the brunette look her way. Reutning it, she turned once again to Raimundo as the priest continued his speech.
Now, the couple had the rings. Raimundo looked a tthe priest, before turning to Amanda and slipping the beautiful piece of jewlery on her hand with the words:
"With this ring, I thee wed." Smiling, Amanda took his hand and the rinig. SLipping it on, she said "With this ring, I thee wed" as well. Nodding, the priest said the final thing.
"Now, do you, Raimundo Pedrosa, take Amanda Winters to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?" Nodding, Raimundo smiled.
"I do."
"And do you, Amanda Winters, take Raimundo Pedrosa to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold until death do you part?" She was hesitant for a moment, and Raimundo smiled sweetly at her
"I do..." she choked out, tearing up a bit. Raimundo chuckled, and wiped her eyes.
"Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may-" Suddenly, Raimundo pulled her clsoe and dipped her down, kissing her. The priest blinked, closing his book. "-Continue kissing the bride...."
The room erupted into applause as everyone stood up. Pulling from the kiss, Amanda smiled at Raimundo, who returned it happily. He spun her around, before gripping her hand and running down the isle with her. She giggled.
Perfect wedding. Now she was ready for the perfect reception.
